Happy New Year Greetings from Long Barn FlowersPosted on Jan 07, 2017
How quickly the holidays flew by, was it the same for you? We saw the New Year in here at our new home and while we’re still unpacking and sorting things it was a happy time. Now the holidays are officially over it’s time to do the final plans for some of the spring weddings and we are already meeting couples planning weddings later this year and into 2018.
But ….before we really look ahead it’s time to look back at some of the beautiful cards and messages we received last year. We love the photographs of happy couples and enjoy reading about your wedding days. A huge Thank You to everyone who wrote, emailed or sent a card, thank you too for the treats and gifts, we do everything in our power to exceed expectations and it means so much to know we did!
Wreath making here was great fun, groups of ladies from across the county made door wreaths and table decorations. We hope you had lots of compliments as guests arrived to well dressed doors! Great to get photos of doors and table flowers in place, if you haven’t sent us a photo it’s not too late to email one, there will be a feature on a future blog and our photo gallery.
We are beginning to plan the flowers for Lemore Manor open day on Feb 12th. Most of you will know how much we love Lemore Manor, a truly stunning venue, with amazing food, a fabulous garden and beautiful rooms, if you don’t know this gem check out www. lemoremanor.com. If you are thinking of maybe going along to the open day, don’t hesitate! Call Margaret and Sadie now to make sure they book you in. We’re looking forward to seeing you there. By then spring will be just around the corner with all the welcome colour of spring bulbs.
Spring and Summer Workshop dates will be announced soon, if you want to be on the mailing list for workshops throughout the year, and haven’t already done so please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will make sure you get all the details in good time.
But for now it’s time to check the Bees are tucked in with enough honey stores for the rest of winter and for us get our skis ready for Austria………….there’s lots of snow and more falling now in the Alps…… we’ll catch up again soon…..
